"piglet" loves her feeding chair

Here is our little 'piglet' she loves to eat, she is the first baby in our house that loves baby food, even the cereals. It is really nice, not to have to fix special food or grind up stuff every feeding. Allie and Riley never would touch baby food, and 'monkey' hated it she would spit and scream every time we tried, the three of them all had to have seasoned food, and still love their food to have a lot of flavor!!!! hopefully this one likes the food now but adjusts to real food easily.

Update on the baby

Yesterday we had a meeting about the baby and his mother's family has stepped forward and they have taken custody of him, it is a good match they were just heart broken about what had happened. They seem like great people and were grateful for the care we provided to him. So as of yesterday at 5pm he went with them. It was sad because he was such a sweet little boy, but he will be well cared for and loved by his family, and grow up very happy.

Riley is growing up

Riley is doing very well in pre-school he loves getting on the bus and playing with his friends. His favorite person next to his 2 partners in crime at school is a little girl named Savannah she is really cute and the both seem to have little crushes on each other. Riley also is progressing well with his Occupational therapist Miss Linda, for the most part they play hard and have really started to help him develop his gross and fine motor skills far beyond where he was 6 weeks ago. Next week Riley gets to start with a new speech terapist so hopefully very soon in the future he can talk on the phone and be understood by everyone. His school has unfortunately fostered a rather sever stutter with his speech so he is going to work with a new therapist one on one. He is really getting big and can't wait to be able to play football. Right now he gets to go to gymnastics once a week and he has a great time in his class all the little girls in his class love to have him attend and mostly spend their time fighting for his attention. I guess that's what happens when your the cute shy kid, all the girls want to help bring you out of your shell. I'm not sure if he is really shy or has just figured out how to manipulate the girls!?!?!?! Time will tell

"monkey" is learing words and has figured out a few of her body parts, she knows
where her "big hair" is and she knows her "pretty eyes" because of her problems we are
using 2 word queues as it seems to be the only time she can make that connection in
her head as to what she is hearing. We are also attempting to teach her sign language, at least enough so that she can verbalize her basic needs, as of now all she knows is "please" which works most of the time.

Piglet is getting big

"piglet" is really growing, we are starting to see a lot more of her personality, she is always happy and smiling, and very rarely has a grumpy moment. She is so much fun to have in our house.

Alex at gymnastics

Allie, has been working hard at the gym lately getting ready to move up to the next level and start competing, here she is stretching her arabesque and working her cartwheel handstand dismount. I uploaded a bunch of pictures of her on the beam and also some on the bars. She really loves gymnastics and we can't get her to stop even at home she is constantly practicing.
