grandpa walker's birthday

 

we had so much fun hanging out with Grandpa for his birthday! he took the kids fishing and went with Allie and me to go bridge jumping...Grandma even came down to watch her jump...I think she may have been nervous but she put on a brave face!

Morgan turned 4 today!!

Morgan is 4, he is very excited to be a big boy! He got a hot wheels track, a remote control car, a bat and ball, water balls, and clothes for his birthday.  Because he is so into the History Channel's 'Swamp People' where they hunt alligators, he got an alligator cupcake cake! He was so excited to see that and asked if he should 'pop it' (what the hunters do when catching the alligators)....he is so serious and funny at the same time!

gonna miss the pool

 

We have swam everyday for the last 3 weeks we will really miss having our own pool...

Holy Hill-billy

Ky has now lost 3 teeth in 3 weeks (2 on the bottom and 1 on the top)...I hope we don't continue down this trajectory or she won't be able to eat...luckily the first one she lost is already growing in, but she is starting to look like one of the cast of deliverance with all these teeth missing!

Kyleigh lost her first tooth

 We were hanging out at the pool today, and she was all style, new sunglasses and cute new swimsuit. Then out of nowhere she wanted me to feel her tooth, it was so loose it practically fell out... I didn't even know she had one loose.  She is so excited for the tooth fairy, Ky is pretty sure it is one of Tinkerbell's friends.

The kids had crazy hair day at school, so Riley wanted a mohawk, so we did that and then manic panic colored his red, and Allie wanted big hair so we did that and sprayed it green.  It was definately crazy hair.

6 week re-braid

Kyleigh's braids made it 6 weeks, and when we started talking about a re-braid she begged for pink....I'm a push over because she ended up getting 10 pink braids!!! She loves them and I guess they are cute on her!

coloring easter eggs

the kids had a lot of fun and finally it was less mess!!! they colored eggs for a couple of hours each patiently waiting for colors and then stirring so the egg was colored right...it was fun to watch!

U of A track meet

Allie, Riley, and I went to a U of A track meet to watch a few of my friends from school kill their competition!!! The kids had a blast watching Georganne and Dahlys run, they both won each of their 3 events so that was even better!!! They promised the kids if they go to the olympics this year they will wave to them so we will be watching.

Jake Sautter-Walker

Well we finally found a puppy that would be a good fit for the kids....they have been begging and begging, and so we found this little guy, he is a pomeranian, and super mellow which is good!

Bubba got his glasses

Riley's glasses came in today, they fit him and made sure everything was good with his prescriptions....I think he looks very handsome in them. Hopefully this is a better picture...grandma....!

Kyleigh finally got to get braids

Well Kyleigh has begged and begged to have her hair braided and long....I haven't wanted to attempt it, but yesterday I caved, she did amazingly well. I guess with the proper motivation even Ky can hold still...she sat through 8 1/2 hours of braiding yesterday and another 4 1/2 today! They turned out really cute and she looks more like a 5 year old...

Riley picked out his glasses

Riley had to go to the optometrist, he has a pretty good astigmatism and some vision troubles so he has to wear glasses full time, he picked out a really cool pair that makes him look very handsome. We also have to get additional tests because of some glaucoma concerns with both of his eyes...so hopefully that isn't what they think it is and he doesn't have glaucoma, but if he does he will have to learn to love eye drops!
