christmas day

finally!!! it's done! the kids had a great morning, the older ones got their DS video games, and the younger ones got all the stuffed animal, baby doll, action figure, dump truck stuff they wanted....along with Santa's obligatory, undies, socks, clothes, and shoes, that only Allie is able to appreciate so far. The kids also got their big clubhouse play system for the backyard, now daddy and papa have to figure out how the heck to get it down the stairs, and assembled before we have a mutiny.

Christmas Eve

We had a fun christmas eve we sang and read the christmas story....Papa had to paraphrase about the wisemen since he couldn't find their part of the story in Luke chapter 2....but the kids got the picture, we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows in the fireplace, and exchanged our family gifts, the kids had a blast... and dinner was an easy clean up...My Favorite!

So this year we ended up doing 2 trees, one that was out in the main part of the house, and then the kids got to pick ornaments for a tree in their toy room, where we will do their gift exchange, we figured they would have more fun that way...here are some shots of the kids getting their tree decorated and the rest of the decorations they helped with.

Kyleigh's birthday

Kyleigh is 4 and loves to be a big firl, we had a pretty small birthday, just the family...but she enjoyed it.

Allie kicked butt

Allie got her first 9 at gymnastics, she scored 9.0 on her first vault and 9.1 on her second vault at last weekends meet. I've been trying to upload the video but can't make the splice short enough.......argggg! So she is super pumped about her training now, and has improved over the last week, to where her coaches think she has a great shot at winning the state title for her division. We will see, it is next Saturday at 6pm.

Church

It is so funny how much the kids love going to church, they beg all week and act like they are going to disneyland on sunday's hopefully they stay this excited!

Halloween

The kids had fun, Allie was a vampire, Riley was Optimus Prime, Kyleigh was a china doll and Morgan was 'the cow' every kid has worn this now, so it is time to retire!

The kids and I went swimming today because even though it was september 2nd it was 109 degrees....yuck!!!! Kyleigh is working on her dive and loves to cannonball, Morgan just likes to run and step off the side, and if his siblings take too long to get in the water he has no problem walking up behind them and giving them a shove!! What a big mean bully!

Bobcats!!!

This is for Grandpa and Grandma who didn't get to see the cats when they were here...These are pictures of a kitten and it is about twice the size of Maynard, so that gives you an indication of how big the mama cat is.

Allie and Riley jumping

Here are some picstures of Allie and Riley jumping into the pool, Allie has become a very good diver and makes pretty straight and tight dives almost every time, she also loves to cannonball, flip, and do handstands into the pool. When we were getting these shots riley decided to flip, for him a huge step since he doesn't usually like the sensation that flipping causes for him. Anyway here are some pictures of them I will get shots of the younger two next time they are swimming as Kyleigh has a cute little dive and great cannonballs, and Morgan has some funny uncoordinated jumps that he does.

Kyleigh finally got her ears pierced

Well Kyleigh proved she was a big girl by staying dry at night so we agreed to let her pierce her ears, she went with Daddy and Allie and Morgan and got them pierced she didn't even fuss or act like it hurt.
